Here is our list of peer-reviewed and personally reviewed kiosk trade shows and events companies exhibit and attend. The KMA currently has a booth at NRF, HIMSS, NRA and IAAPA.  Kiosk and AV trade shows seemed to have recovered beginning in May.  ISE has 45K attendees in Barcelona?

Our personal point of view on tradeshows generally revolves around lots of customer traffic on the floor.  There are exceptions though for resellers and VARs as their “customers” are not the usual customers we think of (Yum Foods, Marriott, etc). Ultimately ROI is a simple printout from A/R with a Salesforce notation alongside indicating origin.

Quick Kiosk and Digital Signage Tradeshow Recommendations (based on our experience and others)

  • Shows and Events that are worthwhile
    • NRF (also one in Singapore)
    • IAAP
    • NRA
    • HIMSS
    • FTE, InfoComm, ISE (Barcelona), MURTEC, CSUN
  • Show and Events to AVOID
    • FSTEC – used to be good but poorly run which is unusual for NRN but then it is Hotel event. Foot traffic terrible.
    • SSIS – another hotel event in December. Very mixed bag (vending e.g.), tries to appeal to everyone but focuses on nothing.  No repeat sponsors, no kiosks. It’s like a pizza with 8 small slices of different stuff. Sometimes you just want the big slice of pepperoni and sausage.
    • CES – consumer stuff
