The Kiosk Manufacturer Association (KMA) was established around 2014 with crucial financial and operational support from its original charter members. These founding supporters included Olea Kiosks, KIOSK Information Systems, Provisio (SiteKiosk), Nanonation, and URway Holdings. The launch was primarily made possible through the joint sponsorship of SiteKiosk (Provisio), which provided startup funding, and the encouragement of Ron Bowers at Frank Mayer and Associates.

The Kiosk Industry's launch in 2014 and initial funding were primarily made possible through the joint sponsorship of SiteKiosk (Provisio) and Ron Bowers at Frank Mayer and Associates. These individuals and companies encouraged the funding and organization of the initial “Industry Group,” which eventually formed the core of the Kiosk Manufacturer Association (KMA), headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
