Kiosk Industry Original Supporters

We wish to thank our Charter Members for supporting the industry and the sites. There wasn’t a website or association until these companies stepped up to support unproven idea.  Now we do 15 million requests a month with 25 sites.

The original charter members of KioskIndustry.org—also known as the founding supporters of the Kiosk Manufacturer Association (KMA)—were the companies that financially and operationally helped launch the organization around 2014. According to the association’s historical records and its charter listings, the original charter members were:

Original Start Up Support

  • Olea Kiosks – custom and standard self-service kiosks

  • KIOSK Information Systems (KIS) – custom kiosk manufacturing and full software suite

  • Provisio (SiteKiosk) – kiosk lockdown, secure browser, and PC management software; provided startup capital

  • Nanonation – digital signage and interactive software provider

  • Kiosk Group – modular kiosk enclosures and design

  • Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc. – retail merchandising and in-store interactive kiosks

Historical Notes

The site’s launch in 2014 was made possible primarily through the joint sponsorship of SiteKiosk (Provisio) and Ron Bowers at Frank Mayer and Associates, who coordinated the funding and organization of the initial “Industry Group”. These founding companies eventually formed the core of the Kiosk Manufacturer Association (KMA), which remains headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The startup funding was provided by kiosk software company Sitekiosk. Encouragement and coaching was by Ron Bowers of Frank Mayer and Associates, Inc.

Together, these organizations are recognized as the original charter group that established KioskIndustry.org as the leading online news and resource hub for the global self-service and kiosk industry.

Other early supporters included ARCA and Crane.
