By | September 28, 2016

Editor Note:  there are many requirements that must be met in order to do business with the government. Most of them apply most of the time. GSA schedule is very important (KioWare for example is on GSA).  The Trade Agreements Act is another and notable for the countries NOT on the list (China e.g.).  In case the PR by TSItouch is a good opportunity to illustrate TAA.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TAA Compliant Touch Screens

Uniontown, PA, September 27, 2016:

TSItouch is now offering touch screen overlay solutions that meet the requirements of the Trade Agreements Act (TAA) and are approved to be acquired by the United States Government for use.

The Trade Agreements Act (19 U.S.C. §§2501-2581) is intended to foster fair and open international trade. It requires that the U.S. Government may acquire only products that are U.S. made or are made in countries that are recognized as supporting fair and open international trade. The TAA requires U.S. Government and affiliated entities with federal contracts to purchase end products made or substantially transformed within the United States or other TAA designated countries.

TSItouch offers both infrared and projected capacitive touch solutions which meet the TAA requirements. Visit http://tsitouch.com/downloads/specifications to view a sampling or our product line.
