Interesting Background
Hengstler began in 1846 in Aldingen, Germany, originally producing clock gongs, and later expanded into counters, relays, printers, cutters, and rotary encoders. In 1995, Hengstler became part of Danaher; in 2016, it moved with Danaher’s spun-out sensing businesses into Fortive. In June 2025, those sensing businesses were spun out again into Ralliant, which now includes Hengstler-Dynapar.
